Drive from San Jose
Driving from San Jose is a great option for those, wishing to see some of the beautiful Pacific Coast of Costa Rica or traveling with more than thirty pounds of luggage. The Coastanera or Route 27 is a new road providing a more efficient route to the South passing thru Jaco, Quepos and Dominical all great stops for meals while traveling. Fly and Drive
Costa Rican regional airlines Sansa provides multiple daily flights to Golfito where you can pick up a rental car and continue on to Casa Rosa. You must arrive in San Jose before 2 pm in order to make the 5 min walk to change terminals and catch the last flight to Golfito. Upon arrival in Golfito, you can pick up your rental car and continue on to Casa Rosa. This option does require that each guest has a maximum of 30lbs of luggage.
Fly and Boat Taxi
The quickest way to get to Casa Rosa. Perfect for the shorter stays and those that will enjoy being car free and getting around town on bicycles provided by Casa Rosa. Arrive in San Jose in time to connect to a Sansa flight to Golfito. Take a 5-minute taxi to the Golfito public dock where your boat taxi will be waiting to take you to Zancudo. Upon arrival in Zancudo your boat taxi driver with take you by vehicle directly to the Casa Rosa. You can book your boat taxi while reserving Casa Rosa on this site.
